ACT OF GOD, AN (US tour, Los Angeles, 14-Feb-2016)
Sean Hayes (God), David Josefsberg (Michael), James Gleason (Gabriel)
Another excellent (albeit a bit dark) capture of this hilarious show. Hayes has a brand new take to the role with new jokes written for him and there's numerous ad-libs. Filmed with mostly close-ups and a few wider shots. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Jake Shears (Greta), Ray Baker (Freddie), Tom Berklund (Wolf),
Hugo Armstrong (Captain), Brian Slaten (Lieutenant/Kapo), Brionne Davis (SS Officer),
Jonathan B. Wright (Guard), Matthew Carlson (Prisoners), Wyatt Fenner (Prisoners)
A fantastic production of this very moving show, performed at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Patrick is phenomenal in the lead role. Andy, Matthew, and the rest of the supporting cast are incredible as well. This is nicely captured with no blackouts and no washout. There is one head that can be seen at the bottom of the screen a couple times, but it only blocks the actors feet and never affects the action. A

CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, THE (Broadway, summer 2014) 2 DVD
Daniel Radcliffe (Cripple Billy), Sarah Greene (Helen McCormick), Conor MacNeill (Bartley McCormick),
Gillian Hanna (Eileen Osbourne), Ingrid Craigie (Kate Osbourne), June Watson (Mammy),
Padraic Delaney (Babbybobby), Gary Lilburn (Doctor), Pat Shortt (Johnnypateenmike)
Filmed from the orchestra, so you're kind of looking up at the stage. Mostly a full stage shot, but very clear and crisp video. This is weirdly listed everywhere as a bootleg from spring 2014 (or, even more specifically, March) although the DVD menu clearly states that it was shot in summer — still, it looks to be the only available video of this production so it probably does not matter that much.

IT'S ONLY A PLAY (Broadway, 29-Dec-2014) 2 DVD
Nathan Lane (James Wicker), Matthew Broderick (Peter Austin), Megan Mullally (Julie Budder),
F. Murray Abraham (Ira Drew), Stockard Channing (Virginia Noyes), Rupert Grint (Frank Finger), Micah Stock (Gus P. Head)
A good capture of the play’s original cast. The play is absolutely hysterical — Nathan, Megan, and Micah being particularly fantastic. This capture has no washout and only minor obstruction, but most of the first 26 minutes of Act One are blacked out. After that, the show is very nicely captured with just one head that can occasionally be seen at the bottom of the screen and does not affect the action. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is very good overall, but there is more shuffling and static than usual; all of the dialogue is listenable. Includes playbill scans.

Novella Nelson (Addie), Joe Ponazecki (Oscar Hubbard), Joe Seneca (Cal), Ann Talman (Alexandra Giddens)
A pro-shot recorded from a tripod, with the audio from the soundboard patched directly in. Even though there are some pans and zooms, it’s mostly a full stage shot. Pretty good quality for a video of its age, but some generational loss and a little dark.

Intending to settle her latest husband's affairs, this larger-than-life Greek tightwad quickly becomes a nightmare for her cheesy, self-aggrandizing attorney. Add Barry's impossible Croatian mother, a dash of current politics and a couple of opportunistic young lovers, and you have in hand a recipe for comic combustion.
